Zentralbank senkt Leitzins erneut um 0,25 Prozent

Am heutigen 16. Juni 2017 hat Russlands Zentralbank beschlossen, den Leitzins um 0,25 Basispunkte auf 9 Prozent zu senken.

Die Zentralbank begründet die Entscheidung in einer Pressemeldung:

„On 16 June 2017, the Bank of Russia Board of Directors decided to cut the key rate to 9.00% per annum. The Board notes that inflation is close to the target, inflation expectations keep declining, and economic activity is recovering.

Inflation risks were down in the short term, while they remain in place in the medium term. The Bank of Russia will continue to conduct moderately tight monetary policy to maintain inflation close to the 4% target.“

Damit senkt das Kreditinstitut den Leitzins zum wiederholten Male infolge. Zuletzt:

• Im April 2017 von 9,75 auf 9,25%,
• im März 2017 von 10 auf 9,75%,
• im September 2016 von 10,5 auf 10% sowie
• im Juni 2016 von 11 auf 10,5 %.

Die nächste Zentralbank-Sitzung findet am 28. Juli 2017 statt.
